The school campus consists of a daycare, an elementary school, a technical secondary school, a sports hall and facilities for adult education.
All on top of a soccle of productive units.

SME’s
The soccle consists of 5900 square meters of SME’s (Small and medium-sized enterprises).
The zone is divisible into bigger or smaller units according to the future needs of the market. A standard unit of around 300 square meters always has its own entrance from the productive street.
The productive area has its own circulation, separated from the schools to ensure safety and efficient logistics for both users.
Secondary School
The secondary school is a technical school with workshops for mechanics, computer sciences, electricity and HVAC.
In an attempt to ensure a smooth transition between both schools, the first two years of secondary and last two years of primary are linked into a teenage school (ages 10-14).
The rest of the secondary school is housed in buildings D and E. Building D mainly consists of classrooms designed for project-oriented education for theoretical subjects. The workshops are stacked in building E. Each floor of the workshops is served by a goods lift going down to the ground floor located in the productive zone, facilitating the smooth delivery of materials for the workshops.
Sports Hall
The sports hall is located in the center of the project, in building C, accessible to all schools and situated above the CVO (adult education center). The building is directly connected to the primary and secondary schools but is designed to function independently outside of school hours. The public can access the building through the bridge connecting the promenade to the school.
CVO (Adult Education Center)
The CVO is located below the sports hall and follows the same circulation principles. They also have access to the technical workshops.
Daycare center
A daycare center for 50 children is located in building A on +01 (ground floor of the school) at the Walcourtstraat. It is directly accessible from the entrance of the site and has three facades. One facade faces the Walcourt square, where the entrance to the daycare is located, an urban facade facing the Walcourtstraat with a drop-off zone, and a facade facing the playground.
Primary School
The primary school accommodates 496 children and is located in buildings A and B at levels +01, +02, and +03. The formal entrance is through the square, shared with the daycare center. The school gate leading to the playground and bicycle parking is located on Walcourtstraat.
The construction site is storming ahead at full speed.
The whole team is making great progress. The goal is to finish the project for the 2025-2026 school year!
